The Drive Nice Day Initiative is supported by the following organizations and businesses.

Support of Drive Nice Day is one more way that Allstate can demonstrate its commitment to driver safety, along with the importance of driver attentiveness, knowledge and patience behind the wheel. Each year, Allstate America’s Best Drivers Report™ gives a snapshot of the safest drivers in the United States based on company claim data.  Unfortunately, Seattle and Tacoma vied for positions near the bottom of that list in 2007. Events like Drive Nice Day and the “Drive Nice Challenge” between Seattle and Tacoma will hopefully elevate the awareness of safe driving behaviors throughout the state.

SWERVE Driver Training, the founding sponsor of Drive Nice Day, wanted to find a way to strengthen our communities by inspiring individuals to be better drivers. We created Drive Nice Day because we believe that it’s possible for everyone to be collision-free for life. SWERVE wants to inspire as many people, communities and organizations as possible to focus on making Drive Nice Day a collision free day in Washington State.

AAA decided to be a part of Drive Nice Day because motorists who respect other motorists, cyclists and pedestrians create an environment that enhances traffic safety and emphasizes taking responsibility for our actions as drivers.

The Department of Licensing is pleased to support Drive Nice Day. Promoting highway safety is a major part of our mission and we encourage drivers to be courteous to each other and put safety first every day.

The Washington Traffic Safety Commission decided to be a part of Drive Nice Day because it supports our Target Zero goal -- a vision for Washington where no one dies on our state's roads. Approximately 600 Washingtonians die in traffic crashes each year, most are preventable. And while we hope to accomplish our goal by putting into place proven programs that address driver behaviors, we can't ignore the obvious connections between Driving Nice and Driving Safe. Lives can be saved if we will all take the time to Drive Nice.
